Christmas Bunting

This week I decided to create some bunting for inside and outside. The classic (vintage style) for me and some creative ones for my daughters to draw christmasy pics on.

We used 'Fabric Crayons' and ironed them to keep permanent, not sure how they will weather, but can always wash them ......

It cost me about £3.50 for the calico, I already had plenty of lovely cottons in christmas colours from making my advent calendar a couple of years ago...
The bias binding was the mostly costly think at 40p per meter (I used 7 meters)

Indoor version:

Outdoor Version - penguins & snowmen by Florrie and Polly

Overview:
Create a template from card and draw around it + cut out triangles (front and back together) I cut out enough to make 19 (38 triangles)

Add some festive fabric, lace and RIC-RAC plus stitch some buttons/beads on.....

Decorate some with Fabric Crayons

Iron with paper over the top to 'fix'

Sew together (Right Sides facing)

Snip at the point so allow some space when turned right side round

 Iron

Add the bias Binding - make sure you pin it!!

 All done !
